Originally built as a Queen Anne Hunting Lodge in the 1600's, set in five acres of scenic grounds. Close to many local attractions such as Weavers Down, a protected area of scientific interest, where there are many excellent walks. A popular local hostelry we have an excellent beer garden as you can see above and compete in the Liphook in Bloom competition. Liphook has become one of the best villages in the "In Bloom" competitions. In 1969 we lost, for a few years, some of our young locals when they set off around the world in a double Decker bus. The bus plus some of its original (now older) passengers are still regular visitor's. Holding regular reunions.
A web site is being set up at www.pillock,org.uk well worth a virtual visit. The Deers Hut, Griggs Green, Longmoor Road, Liphook Hampshire, GU30 7PD 01428 724406
